Maeri is a multi-faceted Production Designer, Director, and creative based in Los Angeles, she is driven by a passion for crafting otherworldly beauty and collaborating on art and film projects. She aims to contribute to meaningful projects that transport audiences to elevated realms.

With experience in film, TV, and creative direction for brands, particularly in the beauty, wellness, music, and art sectors, she found her niche in Production Design. Her journey began with a fine arts degree in Filmmaking from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, followed by work on the award-winning feature film, Open. Subsequently, she pursued various creative roles in New York City, from commercial makeup artist to alternative model, while continuing to produce short films and collaborations.

Seeking a more serene lifestyle immersed in nature, she relocated to Northern Minnesota, living off the grid surrounded by forests, rivers, and lakes. During this period she fostered a deep connection with the landscape, inspiring a prolific output of short films, paintings, and self-portraiture projects.

Her creative journey eventually led her to Los Angeles, where she resumed work as a Production Designer for Film and TV. Additionally, she ventured into freelance roles as a Creative Director and Art Director, taking on photography and makeup artist projects on the side.

Currently, she is immersed in creating an art installation featuring the 20th anniversary of her 16mm short film, Drenched Evolution, and lighting design.
